Happy Noo Yeyhar and all that gubbins. Had lush Christmas and very delicious new year which involved champagne, boxing, ping pong, playstation dance mats, strange arm machines, mixing decks, pizza, industrial sized fireworks fired out of large cardboard tubes and South Park - too much for one night. My new year's resolution to not smoke lasted 12 minutes and not to eat anything naughty - 6 days. Felt new year's blues as ever compounded by huge inability to find a nice house and then out of the blue found gorgeous house, made offer, offer accepted and now have mortgage, solicitor, survey and everything else in place which is a fantastic start to the year. Somebody must love me upstairs.

We are very excited about it all - have to go back to work on Monday boo hoo but I'm good to be a good girl and just getting on with the sodding thing. Anyway nice day tomorrow - we are museuming.

Have just spent evening laundering my life - consequently have tonnes of rubbish bags and some for charidee mate.
